Police were arresting a shoplifter at the time and made the atmosphere a bit toxic BUT the store is clean, well stocked, although constant rearranging of products to other areas creates slight confusion. Overall, the store is the best Wal-Mart in a six county area. They could use a serious upgrade to their men's shoe department, the selection is quite limited, likewise very limited options on shoe/boot sizes. The store keeps enough checkout isles open to prevent aggravated shoppers. I choose this store over the other five closest options.
I always have very pleasant experience is with the friendly staff who work on the floor stocking shelves. I never have great service when it comes to Cashiers or customer service desk. There is typically a pretty good selection of merchandise. Rarely are they are out of stock of anything. The children's clothing section is maintained and organized extremely well.
Usually you cannot find help at this Walmart, but Tuesday this week I went very early about 7:00 am. What did I find but not one but two cheerful & very helpful employees. I was looking for a 10# Turkey but with no luck. One of the meat counter employees by the name of Allen George came over without being asked and offered to help me. We didn't find the 78 cent turkey but he up sold me on a 10# Butterball at 98 cents. Then I couldn't find a frozen item & another employee took me right to it. I'm shopping early all the time now.
The usual Super Wal-Mart offerings. Super Wal-Mart's are a valuable asset to all of these small communities located in the middle of no where, frankly.
