All I can say is dealing with Gabe and Joe Oldfield Used Cars was probably one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had! I live in Louisiana, but found the vehicle I was looking for in Mt. Sterling, KY, at Joe Oldfield Used Cars. I requested more information and was quickly contacted by Gabe Oldfield. At first, I was worried, since I would be purchasing my son's jeep sight unseen. Gabe personally inspected the vehicle and sent me pictures of anything and everything he thought was a blemish. In his words, he didn't want me to travel all that way and be disappointed! The jeep was exactly what I was looking for and the price was a down-right bargain. After I agreed to buy the jeep, the next thing was to find a way to Kentucky. After checking my schedule and the prices of flights, I decided to make the trip almost three weeks after agreeing to buy it. Most dealerships would never have agreed to keep the jeep for 2-3 weeks, so I could make arrangements to fly at a time that worked best for me. With the Oldfield's, it wasn't a problem at all. In fact, Gabe actually offered to pick me up in Louisville (over an hour away), if it worked better for me. Instead, I flew into Lexington, where Gabe picked me up at the airport. When I first saw the jeep, it was much nicer than I had imagined. Many of the things Gabe pointed out were barely anything at all! Gabe then took me back to his shop to complete the paperwork, before I headed back to Louisiana with my son's new jeep! From the time I arrived at the airport, until the time I left to head home, it probably took about 20-30 minutes. Gabe had everything ready to go, so all I had to do was sign a few papers and then be on my way. Finally, on the way home, I received a phone call from Joe Oldfield, Gabe's father. He was calling to check up on me, since he knew I was traveling a long way. How many dealerships would take the time to do something like that? Based on my experiences, only one!
